The house was like a home to us, clean, easy to move around in and comfortable. Excellent beds great heaters and big fridge and amazing equipped kitchen and to top it a washing machine and dryer. Many areas to break out to three decks. The location was amazing close to beach river and shops. We enjoyed it with our 4 children, Grandmum and ourselves. The host was amazing. Our thanks to owner, Jeff for a delightful ‘girls’ weekend’ in a beautiful spot in Anglesea, very close to the shopping precinct and a choice of pleasant walks nearby. The house was ideal for our group of ten with a well-supplied kitchen and plenty of room with three outdoor areas to take full advantage of the great weather we experienced during the weekend plus sufficient off-street parking for our needs. My friends and I would highly recommend this property if you have a larger group.

Spacious and bright beach home near the riverfront (Carmel, Apr-18)
I have stayed at Anglesea River Beach House on 3 occasions now and highly recommend for a stay in Anglesea. It is a modern and extremely well-appointed home that is situated just minutes from the beautiful riverfront park lands and is in easy walking distance to both the front beach, the township, coffee shops and amenities. Close to bike tracks, beaches, and the river. There is so much room in this place – has a fabulous downstairs living area with polished concrete flooring, wood fire, heating, a modern kitchen. With 3 bathrooms, 3 queen beds and a bunk bedroom this place is great for a couple of families or groups of friends to share. Also has a great separate patio upstairs that is good if you have teenagers. The owners always have the house clean and well presented. Highly recommend.

The house is modern and spacious with two inside living areas and multiple outside living areas which was perfect for our two families. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the laundry facilities are good, both these things helped to make our stay really comfortable. Excellent communication prior to arrival, much appreciated. The location was excellent. Walking distance to shops, numerous restaurants and cafes, the beach and the bush. Our children enjoyed the spacious rooms, we had three families staying and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was massive and well stocked with pans, pots, even cake tins. Lots of plates and glassware for our big group too. The entire house and even the bathrooms were very clean and well maintained (I like a clean bathroom). The fireplace was pumping…after we found the wood pile, but even then, there were two reverse cycle air con/heaters in the vast living area. Overall an excellent house and host. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Having stayed at Anglesea on numerous family holidays, I can recommend the Anglesea River Beach House as perfectly located and ideally appointed. Positioned in the heart of Anglesea, it is only a 5 min walk to either the shops and pub or to the beach. We truly did not need to use our car at all after arriving. Inside, the property is spacious (two separate lounges, three bathrooms and three outdoor entertaining areas) and modern with all necessary appliances. We stayed as a group of two families (with 3 kids in each family) and fitted in perfectly. Recommend highly.

The Anglesea River Beach House is a beautiful (new) and spacious house in a central location, close to shops, the river, beach, golf club and walking trails. Jeff was very helpful during the renting process, providing useful information to find the property and access it. There was a comprehensive folder detailing the appliances in the property and the area and heaps of videos to watch if you need. We came down with around 4 to 6 kids so we found having plenty of beds and easy to care floors and furniture very useful. My wife enjoyed having a well-equipped kitchen. My son developed BBQ envy with the 6 burner BBQ out the back, so we had some lovely meals thanks to his enthusiasm to use the BBQ. Having 3 separate living areas (front, back and upstairs) was also useful when both my son and daughter had friends over.

We had a large group staying at the Anglesea River Beach House for a wedding. The amount of space the house provides is excellent, inside and outside on the balconies and back yard. It was everything we needed, large living/dining, fully equipped kitchen, and the 3 bathrooms/showers were a plus. The house is situated in a perfect spot of Anglesea. Once we parked the cars, we did not need to use them again. We walked easily to the beach and shops. Communication with the owner was easy and without any hassles. We will be keeping this in mind if any other trips to Anglesea come up.

I’ve stayed twice in this fantastic house now – once with two families and once with a group of girlfriends. Thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We were very impressed to see the extras that came with the house: foil/film wrap; first aid cupboard; good knife set; lovely selection of magazines to read; etc. Very comfortable beds – we all commented on these. And such a perfect position – walking distance from beach, all shops, walking tracks and pub – where we enjoyed both night’s meals. Happy to recommend.

We stayed here last weekend and really enjoyed everything. It just wasn’t long enough. The photos on the web site are truly representative of the property. It is really well equipped with everything that you need for a short or an extended stay. The quality of the fittings was top notch, and there is heaps of room to accommodate a large group. The wood burner was a welcome treat. It would be awesome in summer with a number of well-designed outside areas available depending on your mood, or requirements. Overall this place is excellent, well priced and in easy walking distance to everything that Anglesea has to offer. The host was excellent. Very professional and responded to every inquiry promptly. I highly recommend this house to anyone considering a stay in Anglesea. You won’t be disappointed and you will certainly get excellent value for money.

Just stayed here last weekend with a group of friends and we all LOVED the house. Wish we could move in and stay there forever. The house is clean, very open plan, definitely has enough space to host a large group of people without feeling like you are on top of each other, the furniture is all reasonably new and comfortable (especially the queen bed in the middle bedroom upstairs). The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to feed an army, and it was all good quality stuff too. The house is close to everything in Anglesea without being in the middle of everything. The house is also very reasonably priced for what is offered. Our host was great to deal with. Responded to emails promptly and bond was returned very quickly. I think everyone who stayed for the weekend will definitely be back with their families for family holidays. You will definitely get your money’s worth staying here.
